Welcome to our brand new blog for our little wedding stationery business, Pennies from Heaven Designs. We will be showing you our latest makes, sharing tips on choosing your perfect stationery and giving you tips to help you with table stationery. We have been running this little cottage industry for nearly 3 years now. We are a husband and wife team - Daren is a Graphic Designer with over 25 years experience and I have been papercrafting, making cards and other pieces of art for over 12 years. In the height of the recession, times were tough and over the years we often had thought about what business to start together. Why ever didn't we think of stationery before?! I literally sat up in bed one November and shouted "wedding stationery"!!! I had every faith we could make it a success with the aid of Facebook and Twitter although Daren was less convinced! However, I started to research and research and eventually Mr Halfpenny said YES!! And so on 1st January 2013 Pennies from Heaven was born. It's been a long hard slog, working many hours of every day including weekends but it's been so worth it so far. We have now exhibited at a few wedding fairs here in Kent which have been really enjoyable, especially getting to know other wedding suppliers. So, so far so good!
